How do I tell my XSLT script not to include the <section> in the output?

Question

I need to tell my XSLT script not to include the <section> in the output for this string: <xsl:apply-templates select="descendant::xhtml:section[@property = 'ktp:stimulus']"/>. I only want the text and retain any styling within the section but not the section itself because it now has to be part of an <li>

How do I tell the script to only grab the content within the section?
