Jupiyter Notebook crashes all the time at Visual Studio Code after system crash

Question

This morning my computer crashed with no reason. Since this moment I'm not able to use my Jupyter Notebooks in Visual Studio Code any more.

I did not receive any helpfull error message. I only noticed that VSC does not recognize changes correctly anymore, because the msg. that there are unsaved changes on the open editors bar does not appear. But if I close the file, I get asked if I want to save.

If I safe the file I can't open it anymore, because VSC tries to open but it disappeas directly.

I already tried to reload an older working version from my git repo. As well with a fresh copy in a new directory. But there I have the same issues. Then I tried to use some of the built in clear functions, I cleared all VSC cache folders at %appdata% and did a reinstall via the repair function as well.

I'm running out of ideas how to deal with it.
