paraview - FloPy: Export water table to VTK

Question

I am looking for a way to export the "shell" of the water table in an unconfined aquifer into vtk-format. I want to visualize it in Paraview. My idea is to use the "export_array" function of FloPy somehow getting a 3d array of the heads in the first layer. Does anyone have hints on it?
