fluentui react - Always visible end media in navigable list

Question

In Fluent UI Northstar the default behavior of Lists with the navigable property is to hide the endMedia element until the user hovers over the item. I'd like the endMedia element to be visible all the time. The list doesn't allow customization here. Do I have to re-implement the navigable behavior to achieve this?
