I'm experiencing problems when using functions, defined in xla add-ins during co-authoring Excel documents.
If two users (A and B) are co-authoring a shared Excel document, a Reopen message appears in case of inserting custom functions. When user A inserts a function (defined in the xla file) in an Excel cell, a Reopen message appears for user B. So if one of the users inserts a custom function, this Reopen message pops-up for the other user and the document must be reopened in every cases.
I could also reproduce the issue with a simple "MySqr" function, defined in a separate "MyFunctions.xla" file (containing ONLY this function):
Function MySqr(x As Double) As Double
MySqr = x * x
End Function
The xla file was installed for both clients co-authoring the document and the edited document was an empty new workbook.
The issue is not always reproducible with inserting the function in only one cell, sometimes inserting the same function in more cells is necessary.
