Old C++ pointer blocks using PHP - Is it still ok to use?

I use this PHP code in quite a lot of places within the name space of PHP.

$Value="this is why.. it's easier than lifting an entire file to further process.";

$CodeList=<<<BLOCKS
Code Here, Block HTML, JS script, what ever and $Value
BLOCKS;

echo $CodeList;

I got an error / warning / notice a while ago about this "<<<" pointer being potentially removed or depreciated.

Question Is: Is this still ok to do in PHP? and or is it something considered archaic?

If it is archaic or not ok to do - What is the solution or replacement to embedding other code into a PHP file because all I want is for PHP to print it, rather than call more resources to pick up the file or code and then just simply print it.
