How to check text file MIME type with typescript before upload?

Question

Duplicate of How to check file MIME type with javascript before upload?. I just want to know can I on the same way as in the link example do a check for all text files instead of images? I would like to allow upload for all files which have text content, not only those with extension '.txt'.
