I am trying to download an excel file using RNFetchBlob package. My code to download (after granting permission looks like this)
actualDownloadPDF=async()=>{
console.log("Inside download")
let dirs = RNFetchBlob.fs.dirs
await RNFetchBlob.config({
path : dirs.DownloadDir + '/path-to-file.xsls'
})
.fetch('POST','uri',
{ 'tenantid': '1',
'Content-Type': 'application/json',
'language': '1',
'userid': '11'
},
{"fieldId":3169,"direction":1},"listType":0,"searchOverSeperateWords":false})
)
.then((res) => {
// the temp file path
console.log('The file saved to ', res.path())
}) .catch((errorMessage, statusCode) => {
// error handling
})
}
I can see the console message : The file saved to /storage/emulated/0/Download/path-to-file.pdf)
getting displayed but I cannot see any file. Also, if someone can help me out with the extension, since
it is an excel file. Is there any way we can prompt the user to select the path and I cannot see any
file downloaded in the specific path. Am i missing something
