c# - How to clear the text of all textBoxes in the form?

Question

private void CleanForm()
{
    foreach (var c in this.Controls)
    {
        if (c is TextBox)
        {
            ((TextBox)c).Text = String.Empty;
        }
    }
}

This method above doesn't work and the controls aren't cleared. It compiles fine, but does nothing.

Any ideas?

I like lambda :)

 private void ClearTextBoxes()
 {
     Action<Control.ControlCollection> func = null;

     func = (controls) =>
         {
             foreach (Control control in controls)
                 if (control is TextBox)
                     (control as TextBox).Clear();
                 else
                     func(control.Controls);
         };

     func(Controls);
 }
