api - Connect to DBS Service - Uk Government

Good afternoon,

I need some help to test the service of checks in DBS UK system. I only found the information that the government provide in this guides in his page: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dbs-e-bulk-technical-documents. I want to know if anyone of you, made some practical / real test over that FTP connection, and could give me some light about this.
