.htaccess - How to remove header (X-Forwarded-For) from outgoing proxy request in Apache?

Question

Constraints: Shared hosting: no access to anything else than my .htaccess file.

Goal: Remove any hints of the client. (I want to proxy requests to another service but they should not see the IP of my visitors.)

I have the following rule in my .htaccess file:

RewriteRule ^images/(.*)$ https://cdn.sanity.io/images/$1 [P]

How do I need to modify my .htaccess to achieve this?
