Python, tkinter, treeview: unable to populate DateEntry box or the multiline Text box from the treeview selected row

Question

getting error 'DateEntry' object has no attribute 'set' also no error but the Text box does not get filled any help would be appreciated, have been unable to find anything on the internet

    def tree1_selected(ev):
        viewInfo = my_tree1.focus()
        selected_data = my_tree1.item(viewInfo)
        row = selected_data['values']
        #cal.set([1]) # this is a tkcalender DateEntry Box
        TR.set(row[2])
        WO.set(row[3])
        cust.set(row[4])
        addr.set(row[5])
        misc.set(row[6])
        issue.set(row[7])
        #notes.set(row[8]) # this is a multi line Text box
