Python program that reads bids from a sale of a laptop

Write a program that reads bids from a user for the sale of a laptop. If the user enters a bid under 100, the program will print “your bid is too low”; otherwise the program will print “you have a good chance of winning this auction”.

Sample runs: Enter your bid: 25 Your bid is too low.

Enter your bid: 100 You have a good chance of winning this auction.

Enter your bid: 130 You have a good chance of winning this auction.

I'm trying python for the first time and a friend gave me some examples but I can't figure out this one could someone help?

You can do something like this:-

x = input('Enter your bid:')
if (x < 100):
   print("your bid is too low")
else:
   print("You have a good chance of winning this auction")
