tomcat9 - Tomcat 9 - failed to set property [packetSize]

Question

WARNING [main] org.apache.tomcat.util.digester.SetPropertiesRule.begin Match [Server/Service/Connector] failed to set property [packetSize] to [65536]

I see this warning when migrated from Tomcat 8 to 9 on JDK 8. The warning gone when packetSize="65536" property from http connector removed. How to set this in Tomcat 9?

There is option to set this in AJP connector but wil face the following issue if the packetSize setting is different from web server: http://tomcat.10.x6.nabble.com/Changing-the-packetSize-in-AJP-connector-causes-503-Internal-Server-Error-in-Tomcat-9-td5074349.html This was not throwing error in Tomcat 8. Once the packetSize="65536" property is removed from AJP connector, it works fine.

Anyone can share more details about this update in version 9?
