reactjs - Use SHOPIFY REST API from react

Question

i'm using the shopify-demo-app-node-react https://github.com/Shopify/shopify-demo-app-node-react , so i know how to use the graphql api with apollo client like :

let get_meta = await client.query({
      query: GET_METAFIELDS,
      variables: { first: 50 },
      fetchPolicy: "network-only"
    });

but how can i communicate with the REST API directly from the react code ? cause fetch require the shop and accesstoken they are already configured in apollo client , there is direct way to do it ?
