spring boot - MessageDeliveryException: block()/blockFirst()/blockLast() are blocking, which is not supported in thread reactor-http-epoll-4

Question

I get the below exception message (randomly) when i try to publish messages on the Eventhub using spring cloud stream eventhub binder - version 1.2.8

org.springframework.messaging.MessageHandlingException: error occurred in message handler
 [com.microsoft.azure.spring.integration.core.api.reactor.DefaultMessageHandler@1e5397b6]; nested exception is org.springframework.messaging.MessageDeliveryException: block()/blockFirst()/blockLast() are blocking, which is not supported in thread reactor-http-epoll-4

and on few occasions i get :-

 org.springframework.messaging.MessageHandlingException: error occurred in message handler 
[com.microsoft.azure.spring.integration.core.api.reactor.DefaultMessageHandler@8d61255]; nested exception is org.springframework.messaging.MessageDeliveryException: Timeout on blocking read for 10000 MILLISECONDS

What is the reason i get these exceptions ? Is this got to do with eventhub configuration ?
